Sony Xperia Z3 Alarm problem

I use my phone alarm to wake me up and twice this week, when I swiped to turn off the alarm, the screen disappeared but the alarm kept ringing. No notification to click on either. Ended up turning the phone off both times. I dismissed the problem the first time as I was trying a different desk clock app as the stock app doesn't go straight to the desk clock display when I put it in the magnetic dock. But I've since uninstalled that app and it has occurred again. Anyone else run into the same problem or have a solution or suggestions?

Get this app called Timely... It's an alerm clock and desk clock and it looks and functions very well

I tried that app when it first came out. I can't remember specifics about it, but ultimately I felt the desk dock clock on the Droid Maxx was better. it may have been something to do with the stock dock's auto launch feature. I'll try it again later to see if it might be better with the z3 since I can set what program to laying when I dock it. Regardless, I'd still like to figure out what the problem is.

I'm on d6633 and the SAME THING HAPPENS TO ME....I don't know what's wrong with it. I gave up finding a solution... It's so annoying.. I went back to using the timely app. It's great. I love the alarm tones.

I installed timely and turns out I had actually used it on my bionic, not the Maxx. Well see how it goes, but if love to see them add a feature to automatically darken the clock either at certain times or when it's dark in the room. Not that the stock clock doors this, but it is something Motorola has done very well and likely why I didn't use it.
