The thread is about someone caring too much about iOS users saying Apple "just works". The thread basically started as a bash on Apple.

My take on this whole thread and topics like it - the bashing from both sides is dumb.

Not really. It is just someone giving air to a pet peeve, all within what would be expected to be the friendly confines of an android forum.

This thread has given us something to talk about other than "my phone won't do this" or "my phone won't do that". It's a break from the norm. PLUS, it's fun bashing a phone that is going to look like a bag of skittle throw-up

Dude! You took the words right out of my mouth! I cannot understand for the life of me why some Android users have this hate for Apple! And the funny things is, I used to use Android before I ever touched an Apple product and used to come to these forums and hear the same thing, iSheeps and Apple sucks and Apple this and Apple that..... I even started believing all that!

Fast forward 2 years and I will never come back to Android, i found what works for me, I guess I am an isheep now LOL

If you bought your iPhone "because it's an iPhone" or because Kanye and Kim said you need to, then yes, you are an iSheep. NOWHERE in this entire thread of 6 pages has anyone said "Apple sucks" or "iPhone sucks"...That is something that only you, and other Apple fans see. You want someone to say something negative so badly, and it's probably because you have some comeback that you've been practicing in the mirror for weeks, secretly hoping that you'll get to release on this board and share the iLaughter with all your iFriends, and then it will be repeated on all the iBoards and you'll become an iLegend of sorts. No, no comebacks and you really need to chill kid! And I was not expecting "it" to happen with you, in fact, I don't know you and I don't care to know you.

I bought the iPhone because I believe it is the better product, not because someone told me to do so, and I was right. I am not your average user also, multiple engineering degrees and certification in Computer Telephony so the iPhone for non techie argument is not valid at all. I know you did not bring that up but someone else did. What bothers me are people labeling other groups just because they do not have the same taste and needs.

The point is...Because of Apple marketing with their ridiculous habit of putting an "i" in front of everything, anybody who buys ANYTHING now based solely off of anyone else having one, or because some "celebrity" told them to is considered an iSheep. For some reason though, only the Apple people get all ****-hurt over the use of the term.

When it's time for a new phone, and a new iPhone comes out, why wouldn't they buy it ? It's just like the people that had S2s and 3s and now they have the 4. They are happy with it, the new one is faster and more powerful, but usability wise it's not a whole lot different. Please, tell me why I shouldn't buy the successor to the One ?

Which part of "I don't give a damn who uses what phone" are you having trouble with? I have a problem with iFans who get offended if I say I like Android. It's like it's okay to like Android as long as you don't tell someone with an iPhone you like Android. It's like the iPhone is the new black, and Android the "N" word or something...At least to the iFan's. If you want to buy the successor to the One, feel free to do so. I have no idea what I'll get next, but it'll be at least a year from now before I do. I have no idea which direction I'll go, either. Android or Windows probably, simply because Apple does nothing for me. I don't dislike Apple, I just don't like it. I'm completely and utterly amazed at how loud people howl when I say that.

Common misconception. Also if you just want to do less real life everyday things, like not wanting to:

Have ability to toggle, wifi, blutooth, gps, etc.. (hold the phone sorry, iPhone just got that the other day didn't they?)
One touch dial from the home screen to all your favorite contacts with a scrollable or sizable widget. (Even my old dumbphones had speed dial)
Plug in your headphones and have your music app of choice immediately start
Create content or add content to the phone without having to choose only one apple provider for content(sure you can jailbreak)
Attach a file to your email that are not just photos or video. (How is that good for business?)
Free tethering without rooting or jailbreaking
HTC One Zoe (don't know if they have anything similiar for iPhone, don't think so)
IR Universal Remote Control

I could go on...

Very true, but when you point those things out, the hardcore fans cry even louder about it. I swear they come to the Android forums in a lame attempt (and fail spectacularly) just to justify their purchases. I don't give a damn what phone anyone uses, just like who chooses what religion...Until they come knocking on my door trying to get me to join their cult or see the err of my ways in THEIR eyes. You don't see me in the Apple forums...Ever!
