Sound on opening

Anyone know of a a system to have the unit play an audio clip like a ringtone when opening the Flip?

I'm not sure to be honest.

I remember a sound could be played when ejecting the sPen on my Note phone by using one of the Samsung Goodlock plug ins and using Penstatic but I'm not sure anything like that exists to make the Flip make a sound when opening it up.

I'm sure many would like that option so if there isn't perhaps send feedback via your Samsung Members App under GetHelp and then Feedback.

I did do that. I would pay for an app that could handle it. I want to play a sound bite like the Star Trek communicator sound when the flip is opened.

Haha I do remember the s pen sound mod. That'd be kind of cool. I don't know if you would have to root the phone though

It could be great to have a custom sound setting option in the phone like the pop-up camera phones provides a separate option for sound while the camera pops out.

Maybe a developer will take notice. There must be a way to tie to the service that turns on the display.

I'm late to the party, just got my z fold 3 yesterday. But, I was able to use Bixby routines to add a beep sound when I open my fold. Haven't found a way to change the sound to a custom sound yet.

How did you set up a sound to play?

Using Bixby routines I created a routine for when the phone is completely unfolded. In the routine options you click effects and it gives options for effects. I did another one so that a light bar travel around the Edge of the screen as well.

Right, I'm still trying to figure out how to choose my own sound, that would be my ideal. if I figure it out or find it somewhere, I'll post it here

I bought my son a palm flip phone (several years ago) can't remember the model but it was on Verizon. It had options for sounds when opening. The sound he chose was a dolphin because it sounded more line the Star trek communicator. ****ty device but real cool sound effect.
