For me, most of the time, the video sound is just fine. When it's too low, I just use headphones.

The speakers are fine for casual use, like quick YouTube videos, a scanner radio app, a talk show, many games, and perhaps a TV show or two. But for music and movies, as well as some games, a wired or Bluetooth headset is really necessary to better enjoy the experience.
