Sound setup

I just switched from an Iphone to the HTC one and need some help setting up the sound:

1. How to I have the sound only for calls and texts but nothing for emails and app notifications?
2. Is there a "do not disturb" setup like the Iphone? I set it to only ring for calls and be silent the rest of the time from 11:00pm to 6:00am

This is a big change for IOS and need some help :'(

You can set notifications on a per-app basis in each app's settings. This is the most granular and best way to handle your #1. For 2, Samsung includes blocking mode on their devices but with HTC there's nothing built in. There are some pretty good third party solutions in the Play Store.
