Try downloading the Zedge tones again. I had the problem and that's what fixed mine.

Hi all,

So since updating to Android one UI Pie on the note 9 the sound for emails texts and sms messages goes silent. My volume is turned all the way up in every category but cannot seem to figure out why is sporadically stops working. My ringtones work when I get calls. Touch sounds work etc. Cannot figure out why. I've already wiped cache partition and restarted my phone several times. My sounds are downloaded from Zedge mainly. Has anyone else faced this problem ?? I'm not going to hard reset because I think this is something that can be fixed without going this route. Any assistance is appreciated.

Even when I had my Galaxy note 5 which was a great device, good lock was great then too.

Better late then never man lol. That's one thing I love about Android the customization and being able to change things whenever you want. I don't get all the fuss over apple which I call crapple.

Lol I do have 1 apple phone which is the x I'm loyal to them because everytime I had accidental broken Screen they exchanged it without warranty . Andriod came long way and I love everything about it can do so much.

I had one apple ipod years ago and I was out of warranty by like 10 days and my hard drive went bad. They did nothing in store and was pretty much screwed. Never bought an Apple product again. Can't stand them tbh.

I've had pretty much every samsung phone since the galaxy s3 which i love the commercial for that btw if you remember. LOL

Note I had since 2,3,4 and now 9

Samsung advertising is spot on lol. And they got rid of the headphone jack. I literally SMH when i see those q tip looking apple earpods.

Like I said I dont get the hype man. There lack of innovation and they dictate what you can do on a device you paid 800-1000 for.

thats true too but even if steve hand jobs was alive Samsung still gives the iphone a run for its money. LOL. IMO Samsung makes a better product. I love my note 9.

Yeah if he was still Alive who knows where we be today in phone industry.

But when the s3 came out bigger screen slim and all plastic phone I fell in love with it ,felt ahead of its time.
