Speaker sounding loose/rattling while on a call

I got my (Verizon) G4 a little over 2 weeks ago. I've noticed that on about half my calls the phone speaker sounds loose/tinny/rattling when the person on the line is speaking.

I've tried every combination of enabling/disabling noise suppression, voice clarity and voice privacy, but nothing has helped.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this?

Does it sound that way on speakerphone or wired/wireless headset? If not, then it might be a hardware issue with the earpiece speaker.

It's only from the earpiece speaker. Speaker phone and headsets are fine.

Anything resolve this issue? After several months with no issue... My g4 just started doing this.

My G4 went into an LG service centre to have the screen replaced and when I got it back the speaker was rattling. Needless to say it went back again and the technicians said they replaced the speaker but it still rattled so they changed the main board which fixed the fault. I've had it back around 2 months now and the rattle has just returned.

It only seems to rattle at certain pitches/volumes but is *really* irritating. I'm probably out of warranty now so looks like I'm stuck with it.
