I have used the grip cases from spe k for the last couple of years, and here is why:

Slim fit, but snug.
Multiple colors available.
Awesome grips.
Makes buttons easy to push without being so easy that there are accidental triggers.

The new presido cases look better in my opinion, i have the black, and it looks great on the black note8. The grips were reshaped last year and look more "premium" to me.

I ordered mine through verizon, at 44.95.

Re: speSpeck Presido Grip case.

You forgot to add it actually protects the screen edges.

I have the same black on black combo & it looks great!! And, I'm someone who normally HATES the more protective cases or anything big/bulky! (No issues with wireless charging either.)

I liked the size and protection level of the Presidio Grip, but I had to return it because I had a hard time getting the phone out of my pocket. The grip part of the case would catch the fabric of my pants pocket and pull my pocket up with the phone. Otherwise it's a good case.

I have this case as well and it does have great grip to it.

I would like to add the Whitestone dome glass screen protector works well with it.

Re: speSpeck Presido Grip case.

Are the long edges raised as the short end edges are?

No they are not. The sides sit maybe 1mm below screen level and about 2-3mm lower than the top and bottom edges. I wouldn't call it a full-on "rugged" case, but it's a quality case, and great for people who have shaky butter fingers like me. It can definitely pull your pockets inside out though.

Re: speSpeck Presido Grip case.

I have the black/black version as well and really like the grip. However, I have a hard time poking in the s-pen to release it and take it out as my thumb hits the edge of the case between the s-pen opening and speaking opening. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: speSpeck Presido Grip case.

It's the white with black. The brighter color helps me find it when I misplaced it.

If you want more pics, let me know.

It looks tan in that picture and I don't remember seeing the tan one.
Yes, I woul like to see a picture of the back.

Thanks. I still think it is better than most cases but it looks only as much protection as with my 8€ Amazon one to be honest.

I will see how Incipio performs here then think about it.
