Haha no worries, happy to answer them. I got the black Fold 3 so it looks really good in the case, and I still wish this thing was black and not clear but it's minor gripe lol. So I didn't even no tice that cut out until I read your post lol, but you're right and I just moved mine to that spot and it works great actually, so another + for this one
I love the hinge actually. It balances pretty well unfolded and in fact, if it wasn't rounded I think phone would probably balance pretty well on it. What I especially like about it is it makes it easier to hold with one hand when opened. You can use the palm of your hand on the side for grip and then wrap your fingers around hinge underneath and it feels really stable. The s pen part is great too. You have to apply a little inward pressure to slide the pen out; if you just try sliding it out with no pressure it won't move so I don't think there's any danger to it falling out on it's own. Oh and I turned all my lights on to look and didn't see any rainbow affect at all so I don't think that will be an issue.
Only potential complaint I have is that due to the hard plastic used (think like an old cd case but definitely thicker) I worry this thing might shatter if it falls from high enough and hit's a hard surface. It'll protect the phone for sure, but will probably be a goner on any first hard fall.
Another note that due to the design on the case, the hinge is always "loose" in a way. Because it attaches to each side of the case it has to be so this is by design but something to be aware of and it'll make more sense once you see it.
But no matter what this hands down the best s pen case we have right now so I think you'll like it.
Edit: Oh and good lord it's so much easier to open than the Samsung one. With the Samsung one I was always worried I'd scratch the damn screen prying it open lol.
Edit 2: Actually now the only light in the room is the TV and I think I do see rainbow like reflections now. Doesn't bother me at all but just an FYI.
