Spent some quality time at Best Buy with demo units

Well when you get a sweet deal such as trading a note 10+ for my s10+ I'm going for it.

See I don't trade off my phones every time, I always keep my last phone for a backup. The s10+ was my backup, but when I can have a note 10+ for a backup for my note 10+, why not. Normally I would have traded the s10+ for my next phone, moved the note to my back up. If things go as normal, the 20 ultra will be main phone, note back up and trade the note 10+ for the note 20, and repeat.

I'm in a good spot far as I'm concerned, as long as they keep doing those good trade in's, I will never have a phone older then a year, can practically buy a new model twice a year for around the price of one with good trade in's, and I always have a good decent backup phone. To me it's a win win deal.

Do you think you will end up with two Note 20s? I guess the answer to that will depend on the deal. I'll probably end up with S20 and Note 20. Never considered two of the same but if the deal is right....why not?

I doubt it. I'm back to having a S series and a note series. So unless I don't like the s20 ultra, I'll trade the note 10+ for the note 20. The ultra for the S21 or whatever they call it then. If I don't care for the S20 ultra, I'll trade that off for the note 20.

The only reason I had 2 note 10+'s is a opportunity landed in my lap to trade my S10+ for a note 10+. I couldn't pass that up.

Just now spent some quality time at Best by examining all three of the s20 variants. The smallest one of course would not suit my particular needs because I'm used to the Note 10 plus. The s20plus in my opinion felt more like a slightly better S10 Plus and actually the S10 5G appeared equal to this unit. The ultra has impressed me and I do like that it feels a little more like it has a nearly flat screen though rounded body. It has a nice wide stance though it is a little bit Slimmer than the Note 10 plus and I was easily able to handle it. I did enjoy the camera features and the zoom was rather impressive for me.
The one thing I would have to relearn with be the buttons being back on the right side of the phone whereas my Note 10 plus has them on the left side.//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200222/dfcd2fdbab88c99a559d71d1f4926776.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200222/319f4bc680514c85ce94b75a5b84a8c8.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200222/73a091ebf7530451e11e24180600362b.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200222/e0b911805d25d76230c3340ceac58877.jpg

I shouldn’t have gone to Best Buy, walked out with this

Lol. I have that same problem when I go to Bestbuy.

Even if the deal is right why have the same of two? Sell the other one and get something else for variety.

Ok its sounds good .S series is very good. I am using S10 plus and it is a good mobile and i hope that new one that is coming is also best.

I have one. It is great.
I'm loving the size of this one compared to the original active I had. I don't think that had the 44 mm if I recall or atleast I didn't have the bigger one. One thing still bugging me is the lack of quality apps on Tizen, on my Apple watch apps like authy, authenticator etc all work great and I can approve 2 factor logins right from Apple watch or look at authy codes etc from the watch. Similar to that many other apps are in Apple watch which I do miss when using the Galaxy watch active 2. May be I should wear one on each arm

I do like how I can do sleep tracking natively on the Galaxy watch active 2 but not on the Apple watch. I need to still play around and try to get notifications and other stuff from non Samsung apps since I'm not a fan of Samsung first party apps and not going to be using the Samsung apps.

True, just thinking of the perspective that if you are going to have two current Samsung devices 2 Notes is not a bad thing. Maybe one plus and one Ultra. The possibilities are endless....lol

For me, there isn't enough differences between the S series and note series if you take the S pen out of the equation as that's not a huge deal for me. I have one as a back up only. It's nice to have a good phone for back up, and even nicer if it's the same thing you use, it's better then having to go back to a note 4 if something happens. There's no reason to swap between the note or S series IMO. I'm not getting anything other then Samsung, so there's no different platform to switch between.

Yeah I meant more of getting iPhone, Pixel, LG, OnePlus or another OEM. For me getting another Samsung phone is same since they all run same software with few differences.

If you don't prefer anything other than Samsung then yeah makes sense you get two from the same OEM. Was just curious

Agreed..... in my case I have an iphone for work so that's kind of out. I had a 3Xl when I bought the S10. When the Note 10 was released the trade in was deal was too great so i willing gave up the 3XL. The 4XL didn't excite me enough and the trade in deals weren't great.
