More comfortable than Note 10 plusView attachment 316941
I have 2 note 10+ phones, well at least till I get the ultra. If I didn't have 2 of them I would not have traded it, would have stayed with the note. The trade in was just too good of a deal to pass on.
Nice I'm stopping by afternoon to play with Ultra, Saturday I only got to play with S20+ and S20 since there was a guy glued to Ultra for more than 20 minutes after which I just gave up and thought will take a look at it later.More comfortable than Note 10 plusView attachment 316941
I didn't play with the camera. Just wanted wanted to get a feel in hand. Exactly.I can verify this. Taking sample photos inside the very sterile Best Buy isn't fun or informative at all.
I understand the impulse but I still say they are a bad idea. They are attention getters, especially the fold but I don't need the attention. As much as I freely spend, it's a no go for me and I like gadgets.Ok came back up from Best Buy and spent some time with the Ultra. It’s not that big and comfortable to hold but definitely on the heavier side. S20+ felt the best to hold in hand.
But the real show stealer was the Z flip, store was not that crowded and the Samsung rep was super friendly. She removed the Z flip from the glass casing and let me play with it for 5-10 minutes. Definitely well made and very impressive, my first experience with foldable phone. I asked her to take the fold but she said people were going to stores and breaking the folds (crazy folks) and she couldn’t take that one out since its damaged. Was so impressed that if they had the unlocked one in stock i would have bought it . Lucky for my wallet they didn’t have any![]()
Yeah I agree on the attention and I don't like people bothering me as well about asking what I'm carrying or what that is. But honestly I was surprised how polished the Z flip felt and it was cool to fold the phone into half and put in your pocket. Granted the utility might be limited and over priced as expected but overall it didn't feel bad. May be my expectations for it was too low to begin with that it surprised me. Also, it was just 5-10 minutes of time with it so I don't know using it on daily basis how it'll feel.I understand the impulse but I still say they are a bad idea. I think its durability is the big question. Like the fold the crease is still an issue and a plastic screen just doesnt cut it either.Yeah I agree on the attention and I don't like people bothering me as well about asking what I'm carrying or what that is. Are you buying it too?Same. Couldn't imagine giving up my note 10+.
Just handled the entire lineup at Best Buy. I have to say, the Ultra is not that bad in terms of size. It’s narrower than my 11 Max and makes that a big difference as far as one handed use. I think the S20+ is a perfect size though. Overall, they are beautiful devices so if you purchased one, you should be very happy.
