Spent some quality time at Best Buy with demo units

I agree with some others here, the weight of the Ultra is noticeable, especially after playing with the 20 and 20+ for a few minutes. The 20 feels light as a feather compared to the Ultra, I was actually digging it more.

I personally like a little weight, feels more solid to me, not like a toy

I haven't had a chance to play with one without the security thing attached to it. Never gave much thought to a phones weight though. I will enjoy the fact that it's more narrow then the note 10+. Even with my larger hands I struggle typing one-handed.

Also, stopped in to T-mobile and walked out with 2 watch active 2s. Couldn't pass up the bogo offer.

Your wrist makes the watch look so much bigger than it actually is. Overall it's pretty close to the galaxy watch. I think the lack of a bezel makes them almost identical. We'll see how well the fitness stuff works tomorrow at the gym. Hoping it's a lot better than the galaxy watch.

I find the Active 2 to almost look too small for my wrist after wearing the S3 Frontier.

It's definitely smaller, but I wouldn't say too small. The thing I don't like is the crappy band that it comes with. If I would've known I would've kept my galaxy watch band.

Oh yeah, I took that leather band off pretty quick. I had the Active 1 so I'm using the band that came with it.

The bands on Amazon for $10 are much better than Samsungs. I picked up the quick release velco band, and it makes taking off/on so much easier and faster. Plus it looks good and has held up flawless for 8 months, still looks new. Better material too (I hate rubbery bands).

I hear that in some phone reviews and I always thought it was strange. I want something I'm holding or carrying all day to be as light as possible, like tennis shoes or sunglasses. Like in Tablets and notebooks, the lightest and thinnest are the best.

The thing I miss from the Galaxy watches are the app support. On the Apple watch apps like authy, approving 2 factor popups from other authentication apps and all can be done right from the Apple watch. The third party app support is so much better on the Apple watch.

I do like the overall build of the active 2 and even the workouts, native sleep tracking (not on apple watch) but the lack of 3rd party app support still has me wearing the Apple watch daily instead of the watch active 2.

I'll have to take a look at this and other bands on Amazon, the one which ships with the watch is fine but would like something more comfortable.

I'm looking something like apple watch sports loop which I like since there are no pins to deal with and feels very comfortable to wear. I liked the earlier one Amazon was similar to this and only $10 compared to my sports loop which are like $50

Tax for directly buying from Apple or any OEM.

I have that exact same band/color, and 2 other colors that I got when I got my Series 5. They are the most comfortable bands I've ever had. Unfortunately the copycat ones for Samsung watches I've seen on Amazon just don't look as high quality. The weave of the fabric seems larger which worries me.

I had a knockoff sports loop for my Galaxy watch and it's nowhere near as nice as the Apple band.

I can verify this. Taking sample photos inside the very sterile Best Buy isn't fun or informative at all.
Funny I was thinking about how the camera would perform when we were on a trail yesterday and saw an owl. This pic is from my note 10 plus. Very rare to spot owls where we are.

I understand the impulse but I still say they are a bad idea. They are attention getters, especially the fold but I don't need the attention. As much as I freely spend, it's a no go for me and I like gadgets.
I also didnt like the idea of the flip or the fold. They looked decent but just the idea of the folding and possibly seeing any signs of a crease or bend would really bug me

Just handled the entire lineup at Best Buy. I have to say, the Ultra is not that bad in terms of size. It’s narrower than my 11 Max and makes that a big difference as far as one handed use. I think the S20+ is a perfect size though. Overall, they are beautiful devices so if you purchased one, you should be very happy.
The plus wasnt too bad. The regular was far too tiny for me. The ultra felt just right and closest to the handling of my note 10+
