Spotify skips songs or pauses while jogging.

I have been trying to run while listening to Spotify on my Moto G. I lock the screen but it appears the motion sensor keeps wanting to kick on and either starts skipping songs like crazy or pauses the music entirely when I start running, whether my phone is in my pocket or my hand. The only motion sensor setting I could find in the phone seytings or app settings was the auto rotate screen and changing that didn't work. Any help on how to turn the motions sensor off?

Solved it. I think it was my other apps' settings because when I deleted "Talk back" and "play music" (apps I never use anyway) the problem went away.
