Sprint 2.1 leak

Don't worry. I did the same thing last night when I was trying to apply an audio fix. Phone refused to get past the HTC screen. I wiped, then wiped some more and nothing fixed it. I ended up copying over a different rom and flashing that one. From recovery you can connect your phone to your PC via the USB option. Once I flashed the new one it worked again.

Can you tell me more about this audio fix? My hero has some issues on the 2.1 lite opt 4, I've seen that there's something odd about the Hero/Eris sound chip. Thanks

All I rooted my phone and did 2.1 option 2, everything has worked fine for the last couple of weeks then I put a new app on the phone it all of a sudden went to digital roam no matter where I am. Locations in the past where I know I am on the sprint network and my phone still says I am digital roaming. I rolled my phone back to the previous back up but it still says I am digital roaming. The bad part is that my non gmail accounts (Exchange and Hotmail) won't auto sync now and I have do to it manual any pointers?

How much free space is on your phone? Im asking because when theres less than 20 mbs free sometimes processes dont start up. If you are close to that try uninstalling a few apps to to get to about 30mbs free, then restart the phone. It might help.

I have 866MB of free space on my SD card and 64.4MB available space on my internal phone storage.

K I rolled it back to 1.5 and I have 386MB on the SD card and 97mb on the phone itself. Even after rolling it back to 1.5 its still in digital roam. Is there anything else I should try here or do I need to call Sprint? Also is there a way to roll it back to the factory settings pre root or do I really need to do that before calling sprint?

Can you dial *#*#4636#*#* Is your preferred network type(cdma auto) and does it say your roaming under that menu.

Also have you tried just setting the roaming option to sprint only instead of automatic.

have you tried to update prl/pri to see if that would help.

That would mean you can't connect to any sprint towers.

Cool I think thats got it. I'm back on the sprint network now and even rolled back up to 2.1 option 2 and everything seems to be working correctly thanks for the help!!!

I believe that I messed up option 3....I wiped, then partitioned (had sd card backed up already).....I believe I should have done the rom, then partitioned...am I correct in that??
