I couldn't imagine that the extended battery of that size would matter too much. Good thing they are giving it away for free instead of charging $49.99 for it.

mine will be in my phone on monday...cant wait:p

All I needed was a little boost to get me through the day but did not want to get the 3800 mAh battery.
The one that Sprint has so graciously has given us is just what I needed. :)

Re: Sprint Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery-The Good, The Bad & The

Well, a week and half using the 2100 mAh battery and everything is still looking good.
For me, it gives just enough of a boost to last me the whole of my day without needing a charge.

How is it doing for everyone else?

Re: Sprint Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery-The Good, The Bad & The

Everything seems to be running great. The extra bit of "oomph" u get from the slightly larger batt def helps during the day. I mean during heavy usage it does not do much, but my standby time seems to be way better than before. I like how the phone feels now. This is the batt the phone should have come with in the 1st place.

even though its not much of a bump in mAh, it does make a difference. for some reason i was credited on my account for the shipping i paid. so i got the battery for free. SWEET;)

I got one completely free battery, and so far so good. I've had it for about a week now and it give me about 20% more battery life. I'm at 17 hours now and i have about 40% battery left. I'm connected to WiFi all day.

Re: Sprint Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery - Good, Bad or Ugly

Went ahead and picked myself up one of these for my birthday.
Gotta tell you, I REALLY like it. :D
Fits perfectly. Built Android Tough.
Great coverage front and back. Love the kickstand.
Just my $.02

I just ordered my extended battery and haven't received it in the mail yet. I'm getting around 18 hours of battery life with my current standard battery using Juice Defender. I expect the extended battery to offer maybe 20-24 hours of total battery life.

Lmao... juice defender.... lmao:banghead:

Not sure what you are trying to say.
JD has been and will continue to help my phone's battery life.
If you use your phone all day long, JD will not help.
It works best and extends your battery when your screen is off by cutting off un-needed searching for signals.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Re: Sprint Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery-The Good, The Bad & The

The message in my Sprint account is very misleading. It says:

"FREE extended battery offer for your Galaxy Nexus

Your Galaxy Nexus is the perfect phone for epic gaming and video viewing. And now you can play longer and download more with a FREE extended battery and battery door. Follow this link and enter promo code BATTERY1 to get your $49.99 value free while supplies last. Shipping fees may apply."

However, when I enter the code it doesn't work and seems to state that I have to buy the phone to get the bundle...when I already have the phone. Again - not surprised that they aren't really giving this away for free - but the header and content of the message in my Sprint account is misleading and seems to indicate that I can get a free extended battery for my current Nexus.
