Sprint HTC One

It will work on any broadcast sprint signal.

I don't think it has WiMax support though, so that leaves out 4G non-LTE for Sprint.

Um that's old news. Sprint already stated that no more new wimax phones.

It will not launch on the 14th.

It WILL launch on a Friday, but it will not be the 15th. Yes, it's correct that all new device launches, price changes, etc will take place on Fridays going forward.

The release date HAS already been mentioned in this thread.

Also expect a completely different processor than what was revealed in the press event. Not sure yet if that will be standard for all US versions, or just for Sprint.

There is only one CPU for this device.

The different CPU's are for the Galaxy phones because the new Exonous CPU's don't do US LTE.

Please, share more details about this. Even a hint would help....we'll figure it out...... :)

LTE works on the chip they announced. They're all the same, they just support different bands.

Well, that only leaves the 22nd and 29th, and only the 22nd mentioned earlier in this thread. Guess we'll find out in 11 more days then, huh? I'm still surprised that no "official" public launch dates have been announced, nor any preorders opened. I know I havent chased any phone launches in a few years...are preorders no longer the norm? I stopped by the local BestBuy this morning. The manager was familiar with the One, but had no info on any preorders being offered.

Sprint had to find a smaller processor in order to find room for the kickstand! ;) hehe j/k

I think everyone is waiting for HTC to announce something to start preorders. But I agree that nothing stating an "official" release date is surprising.
