Sprint Note 7 shipping status

Just got off the phone with sprint. She pretty much read the order status from the online site. I told her site says phone will be shipped on or before 8/17. Then she says its shipped. So out of curiosity (even though i know the answer) i asked her what it shipped with. Took her 5min to tell me PROBABLY ups.

Hmm probably? How is it probably when you told me it was already shipped. Hehe. I didnt get loud or mad. Told her thank you and ended call. Im not even ticked that it will take 3-5 business days. Im more ticked at the fact that i was charged for shipping AND an activation fee.
 
I was told by several reps plus a supervisor earlier today that sprint was still waiting on the phone's to be shipped from Samsung to the warehouse n told me no phones can ship out until sprint received them from the manufacturer and obviously that was all lies, honestly these people have no idea what their talking about so it doesn't mean your phone won't ship today or that it hasn't shipped so unless your status update specifically tells you that your order isn't gonna ship or that its on back order delayed or whatever then I wouldn't stress out just yet cause the phone n chat reps don't know anything straight obviously because mine finally shipped tonight at 7:20pm and I was told earlier that sprint still hasn't even received the phones from Samsung which they were full of **** honestly they have no idea what the warehouse has and or if your order is gonna ship so just wait to see what happens as that's all you can do AND TO THE GUY SAYING HE CAN'T BELIEVE SPRINT DOESN'T HAVE AN ORDER AS TO HOW THE PHONES WILL SHIP I mean all I can say is it's possible that sprint had a major shortage of phones since Samsung severely underestimated the amount of pre orders for the phone and so maybe sprint made a last second decision to simply ship every other order or pick a set number of orders to ship based on how much inventory they received on the first batch and basically it was a luck of the draw as to who got shipped today and honestly that's just a guess since obviously they didn't ship according to the date ordered because I ordered the 12th n mine shipped, and I saw a few people who ordered after me even one guy who just literally ordered Monday the 15th and his was shipped so honestly at this point it's all just speculation as to exactly how sprint chose to handle these pre orders
 
Got an email saying my phone has been shipped. I guess I'll get it Friday as stated, I was hoping for Thursday. Next time I'll just go to the store on release day.

Its weird as they told me the same thing and honestly at this pointits like wtf sprint. They said i should have my tracking by tonight its 8 49 nyc time. Thank goodness i didnt ship this to my job instead i went to my moms address cause who knows when i will get it.i wont eatch anymore youtube unboxing videos or any more reviews at this point ill just be content with enjoying my gakaxy note 5 last days. Still i cant wait to hold the note 7 in hand.
 
I think it is due to demand. My cousin is with T-Mobile he called, and they said demand is so high they don't have enough people to move it all.

Mine shipped via FedEx and will be here tomorrow... Woo Hoo... I was on chat with AT&T tech, he said to expect a BIG update....

Nice... hmm been skimming through this thread. Either majority of people ordered black or their shipping out by color? Open the black batch first?
Like licking a tootsie pop..... guess we wont really know.. :l grr we need an inside source. Where the anonymous warehouse workers.
 
Hey guys just a word of advice make sure you actually enter your tracking number on ups website because just because sprint sent you the tracking information and or your status updates says shipped thats not necessarily meaning that its been shipped but only that the label has been created as when I checked mine it says shipped but ups website says label has been created waiting for ups so hopefully it's already been picked up and will update with movement later on throughout the night AND OR MAYBE SPRINT GOT SICK OF THE CALLS N DECIDED TO CREATE SHIPPING LABELS FOR ALL OF US TO KEEP US QUIET but as I said just check ups website if you have estimated delivery date then it's definitely been shipped but if it says waiting for ups and shipping label has been created then that doesn't necessarily mean that ups has the phone or picked it up from sprint yet okay guys just a little food for thought
 
Should I ask for a refund for overnight shipping if not received tomorrow ? Thoughts?

Oh and my status says 2nd day air btw

I will. I ordered 8/3 and paid $14.99 for overnight shipping. I still don't have an update.

I am sure they will refund it without much of a fight, but I am still holding out hope that it will just show up tomorrow!
 
Officially no tracking# or any updates on a first day Black Onyx preorder. Congrats to those that ordered 10 days later and have a tracking number. I'm glad this forum is here for me to vent lol
