Sprint isn't a national carrier anymore.

You roam on Verizon for free with Sprint.
dont go over 800 minutes in a month, if you do it might help you get out of your ETF Though.
You can also download Roam COntrol from the market and force roam to verizon anytime you want if your phone is rooted.

Yeah, 'cause I love 1x data connections sooo much.
I don't care about voice coverage, I care about data. I use maybe 200 minutes a month. At most.

lol hey, im just saying. the voice coverage is there, and also either Sprint or VZW have a flaw in some of those towers. I went on a roadtrip last week and when i was roaming, i was pulling in 1mbps and im sure it was a verizon tower because my gilfrineds iphone speed test result was almost the same.

either way, yeah 1X sucks but if you don't travel that much and rely more on voice, than sprint is still a decent carrier. im with sprint and verizon lol (seperate lines in my name)

Sprint, hahaha. On average, unless apparently you live on an island, has crap coverage compared to Big Red...I'll wait it out, thanks though guys.
iI just came back from a trip to Washington State and
and Los Angeles. The reception was great there. Also, went to Las Vegas last November,I didn't have any issues with signal strength at all? Funny, thing my sisters Verizon phone(blackberry) had a hard time getting signals in Sammish County in Washington state. While my Evo had no
No problems.

Yeah... you right Hawaii is a Island chain.
And trust me it sucks living in place where there are
A lot of people that can only dream of visiting.;)

Can someone clear this up for me?

I thought that about five years ago, the feds made it illegal for a company to offer money to a consumer to help offset the cost of an ETF. Or was it to pay for the ETF?

Either way, I'm surprised this has happened. Is there some sort of loophole or what?
