Sprint Pre-order Delivery?

I talked to them today and they said the back order status was currently applied to all Samsung Galaxy S3's but since I pre-ordered I should see my order shipped before the 21st.

I'm not too worried about it.
 
My status shows The order or a portion of the order is in backorder status. If the customer would like to select an alternate product or cancel the backordered item, transfer to Order Support.

I dont understand I pre ordered 6/5 around 4:30 am central time. I guess they are not sending preorders on the first come first served basis.

Very disappointed :(

I ordered a car charger at the same time I pre ordered my phone. My car charger status said it was on backorder and I could cancel it if I wanted. The very next day... the car charger was delivered to my house. On my order page it still shows the car charger on backorder and it's sitting in my car. :eek:
 
i call sprint they said all galaxy s3 will be shipped on monday in to check for a tracking number.....that back oder info is only because we preorder:D

Mine is the same...I ordered at 3:16 AM East. Hopefully we will have a tracking number by days end tomorrow O:-)

oh.. and i ordered the blue32 in case maybe thats the deal...
possibly the white 16's are shipping first

I get the same, if I use the D#. If I use the O#, I get the backorder message. Oh well, it will get here when it gets here.

For those of you that don't have your D#-

"sign into your account, then click see details under "recent payments", then on the right hand side click "see my order history." that should bring up the order number"
 
I just checked and I get the same, using the D# I get a status of shipped and using the O# I get the backordered message.

I had the E4GT and sold it to get an iPhone 4S but I am going back home to Android. I liked iOS but after using it for a few months preferred Android.

BTW, I preordered last week on the 14th.

Looking forward to getting this phone.

According to the sprint rep I talked to, the D# is nothing but a warehouse number and to ignore what that says. Was told the only number to use is the # that was emailed to you. oy-XXXXXX. Everyone's warehouse number says that.

My D# said that it was shipped the first time I noticed it (about 7:00am on the 5th). I ordered it 6/4/2012 11:05 pm CDT. Guess what..... I still don't have it.

I just did check the order number that starts with D, it says its been shipped. No tracking # tough.

Yes, I do not think the D# is anything to go by. I was just trying to clarify that the one person that showed shipped status was using it. I am guessing that the tracking numbers will populate later this afternoon.
 
Called the 1-866 number on the preorder status page and the nice lady that I talked to told me they have recieved a shipment and that they would start shipping out today and to check back later for a tracking number :eek:
 
I also called the 866 number and the man I spoke to said not to worry about the back order status on the website. He said that pre-orders get defaulted to that status, he also said that the warehouse just needs to update the system and UPS to give tracking numbers and to check back later today.
