My phone was shipped by Sprint. Remember your phone may come from a many different Sprint distribution centers.
Very true and like I said these phones will show up when Sprint wants them too.
I personally, never received a phone directly through Samsung, so I can't speak for them.
My note 8 said it would be here on a Friday and I remember vividly the FedEx driver showing up on Thursday. My original shipper was Ups 2nd day air.
But I surely know that no matter how many times people want to update that screen, it may never change until shipment is on the truck, on it's way to your house, that day.
Lol they, changed the original date of my Sprint Shipping date from the 15th to the 19th and now I'm supposed to receive it on the 22nd. The original release date was the 23rd. They do what they want.
That's why I cautioned everyone to be patient, they are coming.
That was my experience 2 years ago. Plus I worked for Ceva Logistics in NJ for 8 years which is guess what, right across from the UPS distribution center.
A 2nd day air label ensures a little bit more safety and speed. But it also allows for the shipper to make adjustments to customers that are scheduled to get their phones when various carriers are behind or overwhelmed on the date specified.
