Sprint roaming

I am currently with Verizon. I am thinking of switching to Fi. My home is in a fringe area with T-Mobile and Sprint. I believe sprint has roaming agreements with Verizon. Is that correct? If so, if I'm getting no T-Mobile or Sprint signal would I connect to Verizon through Sprint roaming agreements?

You won't always get Verizon roaming. It is unclear exactly what agreement Project Fi has with Sprint/Verizon but it appears that you only get Verizon roaming in areas where there is no Sprint or T-Mobile coverage. It is also tied in with AT&T roaming, I believe (but do not know for sure) that Project Fi has AT&T roaming in many areas rather than using Verizon.

My suggestion is to order Project Fi but not port your number, get a feeling for PFi coverage in your area, and port your number only if you find the coverage works for you.
