Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 - Help, unrooted phone now wont go passed boot screen

So i unrooted my samsung galaxy s4 which was rooted. I followed the instructions and I did it successfully. However, now it's stuck on the sprint screen when I load. I rather not factory reset my phone and lose all my data. Is there someway to fix this without deleting everything?

Definitely sounds like a OS or boot/kernel issue if you can't get past the Sprint load screen.

You maybe forced into obtaining the factory images to restore to stock, thus resetting the device.

i ended up doing a factory reset which made it work. oh well, atleast it works great now!
