Sprint/Samsung releases 'los' fix?

Woke up this morning to a message that an update was available. Took about 5 minutes to finish and it went fine.

I'm in NorthEast Florida.

Sure you can. You can get use the EG30 ODIN tar file to return to stock. The OTA update is also on XDA so you can also flash it without waiting for Sprint.

However, there really isn't any need to unroot to get the new EK02 modem.

So with the automated root, we can install this update? I have the message and there's no option NOT to update, and it keeps popping up every 20 minutes. I read that some people say their battery life stinks and I haven't had LOS since I flashed to EG31.

I woke up this morning and took my phone off airplane mode and said their was an update. I clicked on install now and it powered off my phone and booted right back up with nothing. Went to check for an Android update and says You have the latest update. It still shows 2.3.4 and eg30. Wondering if anybody else has had this issue or not.

Are you running custom rom? , If so that's the problem you will need to go back stock.
If your stock not getting update install it may be bad download due to data connection weakness.

The Fix,
Install Samsung Kies onto pc update using usb.

I got the update this am - not sure if anyone noticed but the stock swype keyboard has changed slightly - to switch between English and Spanish, the key has changed from next to the SYM key to the "q" key (requires to hold the key to change). Kind of like it as I would suddenly be swyping in Spanish

I'm confused; I didn't get anything on my phone saying anything about an update is complete, available, etc.?? How and what do I check to see that my unit has been updated as well?
