Sprint's LG G2 Info Thread - Tri-Band LTE - Release October 25th - "One Up" Program.

Re: Sprint's LG G2 Info Thread - Tri-Band LTE - Release October 25th?

Has Sprint said whether they'll have the 32 GB and 16 GB versions? I definitely want 32 GB since there's no removable storage, but I'm hoping they have it and that it's within $250.

No info one way or the other.
As everyone else has the 32GB version, I would like to think that Sprint's will be the same.
We will proably know more on the 11th when pre-ordering starts.

Isn't Sprint discontinuing the current family plans on the 11th? So will I need to sign one of the new My All In plans to get the upgrade or am I grandfathered into my current plan? Have 4 lines on 1500 mins unlimited text/data.

If I'm not mistaken every US model starts at 32gb. No 16gb which is only on the international version

Re: Sprint's LG G2 Info Thread-PREORDER OCT 11th, $199 on contract!!!

It does not say Tri-Band but does note "coverage enhancements" "network technology" "updated spectrum" and "improved signal strength."

I think Sprint wants to sell as much inventory as possible of existing phones to people who don't check on forums like this. In the meantime, I've been aware of tri-band coming since I started doing research when my Moto Photon slid out of contract in August - and I have been waiting on two things - Sprint confirming LTE coverage in White Plains NY, and the emergence of the tri-band phones. I have WiMax when I need it in downtown White Plains, which is all the more reason to hang onto the Photon for now. I recently discovered the Sensorly maps that show Sprint has actually started upgrading towers in my area even though it doesn't show on Sprint's maps yet!

At this point, I'm excited about the G2, and I'm registered for the pre-order notification - but I am not sure I won't wait a little longer for a tri-band phablet-size option, which would be even more ideal (I'd love to use a 6.5-7 inch phablet/tablet as my primary phone),

All good info.
The info about all US versions 32GB is good to hear.

I have started a similar thread in the Sprint LG G2 specific forum so throw all new replies there. Thanks.

Sooo... I won one thru the emulator contest. Odd way to request info from a winner though. No PDF, just a few general questions and you cant really "update" or fill in the requested info. Figured LG would come with something a little more official looking. Kinda janky. WHO CARES, I WON ONE!!!!!!!!
