Just did my update Didn't lose any data and the battery and signal is white now. So far the phone feels snappier, but don't know if it's me just thinking that!

Headed home to backup sdcard/storage, then make a LG Backup without media and stuff. When update comes I will update quickly. Then I will check phone for bugs and necessary apps. Then I will factory data reset. Finally, I will restore LG Backup and copy sdcard/storage back to phone, and pick up where I left off.

Someone commented on the article that AC put on the news page that it rolls out by state and Michigan is scheduled to get the update April 11th. I can't wait that long lol

how did you back it up?

Copy whole sdcard to CPU. Then use the LG Backup App, and copy that file to CPUs separately.

Hate to ask the obvious, but has anyone tried MMS on KitKat yet? To see if it actually works? Also curious if Google Wallet tap an pay will setup now, as it has not worked on the G2 thus far.

Hey all, I have been waiting ALLLLLLL day and I finally got it by doing the following without having to sideload through ADB:

I Force stopped Google services framework and deleted data twice, I then quickly checked for manual update and got it!!!!!

I hope everyone else enjoys this little trick of pure excellence

Dang. Didn't work for me. I liked the "Last checked 12/31/1969" after deleting data...almost as though they were mocking me
