Squeaky/Loose Screen?

My screen doesnt squeak but there definitely is a very little play between the screen and the keypad...

Mine is solid. I tend to put pressure on the upper most corners when using the physical keyboard though. Trying not to as I don't care to loosen things up. :)

I have almost no play at all between the screen and the keypad. I did on my first droid, but not on this second one.

I feel funny saying this, but on my first droid, the screen was sturdy. I returned it because it was rebooting like crazy. My replacement hasn't rebooted, but there is a good amount of play on the screen; much looser than the first. I think I'm keeping this one, though. I'd rather have it a little loose than rebooting all the time.

My 2nd droid had no play, They tried one of the cases that snap on. Relized I did not like it because with the keyboard open, the top row of keys were too close to the edge of the case. Getting the case off must have tsken its toll on the screen and loosen'd it up. Exchanged it and the new one is perfect again. I have friends with the droid that use no case at all and after a week in the pocket, they did notice some play where there was none on day 1. Its wear & tear (break-in period) guys.

Top left of my screen has movement too. I noticed it in Jan, and it hasn't gotten any worse since, so I think it may be a stable design element.

My screen has movement when I put pressure on it. It is only on the left side (in portrait), and much more noticeable at the top than the bottom, although present in both locations. It's the kinda thing that annoys me - OCPD - but I think I can live with it.

In a similar vein, the screen section of the handset has a little bit of play left to right when closed, especially at the bottom of the screen (again, in portrait). However, it requires an amount of deliberate force to notice.

I just hope these things don't get worse.

i discovered a piece of plastic on the back of my screen in between the screen and keyboard. I pulled it off and my screen immediately started squeaking when i would slide it up and down. also the slide wasnt as smooth anymore. I put it back on and it smoothed out and stopped squeaking. there is definitely a pressure issue with the screen. they had a similar issue with the storm when it came out.
