Standby battery drain from 100% is (ridiculously) slow - anyone else observed this?

I'm interested to know people's experiences regarding this - not sure if it's since the April update or not, but I've noticed "overnight drain" on 2 consecutive nights now to be unexpectedly good when starting at 100%. Over a 6-hour period (with about 2-hours having the AOD always enabled), it drops to 98-99% only!

Prior to both nights, I purposefully left the phone charging for an extra 30-60 minutes after it hit 100%, as I read some people claiming that it still charges for a while even after it displays 100%. I'm not sure if this made the difference. However, I'm actually a bit disappointed by all this, as it doesn't appear to be an accurate representation of battery % remaining.

I guess I'm coming from the S21 Ultra Exynos, where going from 100% to 99% occurs within 15 minutes of standby (with AOD enabled). With the S23 Ultra, I had observed it often taking over 2 hours for this, and since the April update, I think it's often taking over 3 hours!

I charge overnight, so it's hard to say. But I can repeat something I've said before... While it is true that some manufacturers (definitely Apple) Kinda fluff the numbers so it looks like the first percentage point lasts 4 hours, it is also worth bearing in mind that calculating a cell or battery's remaining charge is less of an exact science and more of an educated guess.

Yes I appreciate it's not an exact science, but I'd never observed this on a Samsung phone before. I've had the S7, S9+ and S21 Ultra prior to this.

Already on it
