Start up sound

Yall how do I get rid of the start up sound? I can't remember if there was a manual way we could stop it or if at&t stopped it. It's been years since I heard it. My phone restarted the other day and scared the mess out of me. Lol

My phone lives on vibrate, so I never hear the start up sound. I was thinking maybe it's considered a system sound? All mine are turned all the way down under system sound and volume.

In the past u go to apps>toggle on show system apps>system UI tap>notifications tap>notifications categories tap> you should see phone restarted toggle off if you can , mines greyed out so can on the unlock firmware

I don't have ability to tap on system UI. T-Mobile version from Samsung.

I'm on the unlock versionwith T-Mobile sim but T-Mobile version u can't tap on system UI ?

I guess with newer Andriod versions they greyed out those settings , I remember previous generations and different Andriod versions I talked about these settings and worked at the time .

You can try turning the toggle off for sounds and vibration on system UI and test

I did what Katrina said and turned down the system volume. That worked. Thanks for the suggestions.

there is an option in settings, sound and vibration, additional settings, then disable audio at start up

Which device do you have? No setting for additional under sounds and vibration

i am also with Tmobile running UI 7 beta 3 and i am able to get into the system UI -> notifcations

But can't turn off startup sound if phone Carrier T-Mobile

try turn off (power on sounds) in sound and vibrations, or may rename directory, file PowerOn.wav to PowerOn.wav.bak in may be /system/media/audio/ui directory

I'm just giving advice from the past that used to work , what your saying here would need Root which most don't do here but thanks anyways for your tip.

Probably best to keep on vibrate /silent or use Venom mentioned of that app
