Steinheil Screen Protector Discussion

I'm not gonna hold my breath for an email to my query.

I wouldn't either - I'm 2 for 3 (or maybe 3 for 4 - can't remember) on email replies from them - and I think I'm a very small % of the norm. LOTS of unhappy folks on their FB page - but at least that Jason guy there is trying to quell the masses.

So this screen protector is not grabby at all? I like my Invisishield, but it's way too grippy sometimes. This looks like it may be a nice substitute.

After using the DX w/o a screen protector for a couple weeks and then isntalling the SGP Crystal, I noticed that my fingerprints are much more apparent with the screen protector on.

Dang, not good news. I did like the IS how it hid fingerprints. Maybe it won't be so bad.

fingerprints rub off.. scratches don't..
I don't mind having to wipe off my finger prints here and there..
I love the SPG crystal. I feel much more safe, knowing that it's on and my screen is not going to get scratched.

Finally installed one of the ultra crystals. It looks great, but I got a couple of pieces of dust, one causing it to lift at the edge. I even did the steamed bathroom trick.

I'll try once more when this one starts lifting. If not, I'll blame myself and pay a professional.

I must say, I hope I get it right. This is a phenomenal screen protector. Absolutely clear, minus the dust specs. I feel it getting better about stick, or maybe we just naturally adjust and touch more lightly.

It's looks as though nothing is on until you see the small gap it leaves. I like this protector infinitely more than the Anti-Fingerprints.

Just got mine in. Installed the first one the wrong way... So I am glad they include 2 lol. It is pretty nice, can hardly tell it is on. Have to say I might like the feel of the invisible shield better. I will give it some more time I guess.

Thanks everyone for posting this. I ordered mine last week from Amazon and recieved in 2 days. With out question, this is the nicest screen protector I've ever used. Just like everyone else commenting on how awesome this screen protector is, I completely agree and I'm blown away. I've used several in the past on BB, and the ones from Verizon. These are top notch and you cant even compare, becuase the quality is way better. From now on, I'll always get my screen protection from Steinheil.

It is pretty nice. For sure has a nice feel, and you can hardly tell it is there. But there is a "rainbow" effect, and I havent figured out if I like the zagg better or not yet...

Something ain't right if you have a rainbow effect.

I can see a slight oily look from my cheek after using the phone. Are you sure it's not just oil from your skin?

Could have been. My first impression of this protector was meh, but I am starting to really like it now.

I love my zagg, but now cs is playing games with me over me returning the last product....I have returned stuff for the past 4 years....and am a zealot lol...ya think they would take my word that it was indeed returned.....NOPE!

Just installed the Ultra Clear, very nice. It is clear, I have lost no sensitivity like I thought I would either. It starts out really grippy, but smoothes out quickly.

I would definitely recommend this product.

I am a zagg convert. These are the best protectors ever. I am on day 3 and I am infinitely happier than I was with my zagg.

Zagg's only plus: it can hide a whole days worth of face oil and fingerprints without needing a screen cleaning, these clears? Not so much.

I actually just put the invisible shield back on. Had some issues with the Steinheil, dust and what not. I am getting pretty good at changing these lol.

Edit: Ya I messed up. I miss the Steinheil. So ordered another set.......

If anyone still reads this, I have come to the conclusion this is way better than Zagg's invisible shield. I hate the invisible shield now. If you don't get it perfect the first time its never right. Plus the Steinheil has such a good feel to it

heres what the Steinheil Ultra clear looks on the DX (my phone is on the left with the red silicone like case) and Verizon anti-glare shield (the other DX without the case is my husbands')...

I like the Steinheil way better because it looks like there is nothing there compare to the verizon anti glare....and im sure there is a lot of review regarding this but i thought id share what i thought about these screen protectors....

I was just wondering where I can locate that red case. Thanks.
