Steps in upgrading to bigger MicroSDHC card?

Hey all,

I got an 8GB MicroSDHC to replace my 2GB stock.
I have rooted my phone and have used App2SD.

Can I simply copy over everything from the 2GB to my 8GB, or are there certain steps I need to take?

i did exactly as stated here and now all my contact pics are gone and many of my apps which i had moved to the sd card were missing. at least that's what i've noticed so far but i'm sure there is more missing. somehow, the copying changed things enough that the phone can't find them?

Assuming you're on Windows, whyaphoenix's instructions won't copy the ext partition of the SD card.
Before following whyaphoenix's instructions do a nand+ext backup.
Then after you finish following whyaphoenix's instructions do a recovery.
