Steve knew what he wanted and what others wanted, even if it didn't exist yet. Just don't get in his way or fail to deliver. He was on a mission and he succeded.
My comment was deleted but still stands. I respect him for his visionary "marketing" but the title of genius is a bit much. That is all I stated. I didn't use any inappropriate language and meant no disrespect. Deleting my comment because the mod didn't agree is not right though. Rip Mr. Jobs and thank you for pushing the mobile industry in the right direction.

Who said the mod didn't agree? I read your post and I think he concluded that this thread was not an invitation for you to bash a man who just died within the last 24 hours. If that doesn't resonate with you, then contact me directly.
Did I bash him by stating something that he and the company did? They were truly visionary with marketing. And I applauded them on it. But this thread is about him not us so we will keep it on topic![]()

Lets not start this please. The man just died. Like him or hate him R.I.P.
Keep your disrespectful comments out of this thread. Thanks.
RIP Steve Jobs. Your vision has touched tech in one way shape or form. You drove others to excel above the norm to meet/beat your idea's therefore driving technology to what it is today. So I thank you for being part of that collective fire among tech inventors that helped shape our electronic world to what it is today and for the future. I may not have been a die hard iPhone fan in the slightest but I know I have touched your work throughout my life in one arena or another.
Rest in peace
