Still no DroidX :(

I'm afraid that is what is going to happen here. I just hope for both of our sakes if it doesn't ship by the 27th that it does shortly after and we don't have to wait till 8/3. I was just hoping to be one of the lucky ones to get it shipped early, but hey we still got all day today, Monday, and Tuesday to get the email. If that happens I won't mind at all since that was the date it said when I ordered.

However i would be disappointed if I had to wait till the 3rd when people that ordered after me are already getting their X's. I guess the 2 reps I spoke to that insured me mine would ship before the 27th and that I should have it by then just got me a little extra excited for my X. I also wondered if it was because I ordered the dock with mine. I wonder if they have a shortage on docks if they would wait til they could fill my entire order or if they would send me each separately when available if they had to. They haven't even charged my account for it yet so I am not getting my hopes up for mine shipping anytime soon.

i really would love the 27th at this point....the guy who started the 'how much did you pay for your x' thread claims to have bought it online (7/24) and a manager (funny now that i think about it i didnt hear anything from a manager when i placed my online order...hahaha) told him it would ship monday...

other people in that thread are claiming monday as well...maybe we'll get lucky....

I ordered my Droid X and the dock online on the 22nd around 10:00am. I received a shipping notification around noon today with an estimated arrival of the 28th by 4:30pm. The order number in my shipping notification doesn't match the order number i got when i first ordered the phone. Now my question is has anyone been shipped the dock, then the X later, or did you receive them both at the same time?

Also on fedex.com it says that an Indirect signature is required. Does Verizon require a signature on just accesories? This is the first time I have bought accessories online from Verizon. Thanks.

How much is the weight of the package?

Mine was 1lb for the phone, carbon fiber case, and screen protector. So if it's 1lb it should be your phone.

There is no weight listed. At least not yet, they might weigh it at the sorting facility tonight or something.

My girl ordered hers on the 19th and just got shipping confirmation today so I would think it's your phone.

I called CS today and asked when my 2 DX's will be shipped. I ordered mine on the 21st. The CS rep said that it will ship around the 27th. I hope it does. And she even told me she'll give me a call once it ships.

Damn it I ordered mine the 18th and still awaiting my shipping notification!!! I ordered the dock with mine as well. Maybe tomorrow is the day I hope anyway. It is torture to keep reading about people that ordered days after me getting theirs shipped already but the website did say by 7/27 so as long as i get my shipping info by Tuesday I really have nothing to complain about.

I don't know how it works my only guess would be location. If 300 people ordered in the Midwest between the 19th and 22nd but 500 people on the east ordered on the 19th alone I am guessing they are not going to ship more to the east coast just cause there is more demand there. I mean if they send 300 X's to the mid west and 300 to the east coast then that is enough to cover everyone from the 19th-22nd but not enough to cover just the people on the east that ordered on just the 19th thus it seaming like the people there who ordered on the 22nd getting them early. That is my guess as to why some with later order dates are getting them earlier than others who ordered before them?

All my nagging the CS has finally paid off! I called and got this really great CS rep on the phone and he dug deeper into my account and found a tracking#!!!!!!! He said it will ship out monday! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just called CS just to check and make sure my order was still good to go cause my account hasn't even been charged yet but they said my billing cycle already ended so it will be on the following bill due September 1st. They said everything looks fine with the order and is still showing to ship by the 27th. My dock will also ship with the phone as one delivery so that's cool.

They also had no answer why I got friends that ordered a day or 2 after me and one got their phone already and the other got their shipping info yesterday. Kind of aggravating but like I said I cannot call and complain till after the 27th. Maybe tomorrow is the day?

YEESSSS!!!!!! Just got off the phone with a CSR and she said my X shipped on the 22nd and is out for delivery as i type!!!!!!!!! I never got a email confirmation showing it had shipped..I ordered on the 19th for you wondering...OHHH Cant wait!

can someone correct me if i'm wrong....but doesnt it say "Free overnight shipping" on verizon's website....I doubt I'll see mine tomorrow, since it took all day to move out of PA...
