Stock 6.0 on-screen navigation button question(s)

I'm seriously considering picking up the new Nexus 6P, but the screen size has me a bit concerned about one-handed operation, which has led me to ask 2 questions that I haven't been able to find an answer for yet:

1. does Marshmallow allow you to select different arrangements for the on-screen navigation buttons like the LG G series; and

2. more importantly, does it include the fourth on-screen nav button that pulls down the notification shade (again, like the LG G series)?

This issue is not necessarily a "deal breaker" for me in making a device decision, but these 2 features have been very useful for one-handed operation of my G2, and I imagine it would be even more so on a "tall" screen such as that on the 6P.

Thanks for any wisdom from anyone who has actual experience with the new OS.

I'm wondering if the exact same thing. Got my 6p the other day but driving me nuts I can't figure out how to change the nav buttons I've been use to on my G3

The 2 features were, I believe, a capability of the skin LG adds to their phones. You would need to use an alternate launcher to get this I think.

It was aa system setting on the LG G3. Im running the same action launcher on the 6p as the G3, but no option under launcher settings

Stock Android does NOT allow for this. Period. If there were any changes to the nav bar to be made, root would be required.
