Stock build number

What is the stock build number suppose to be after all the official updates? Need to know if I need to restore my epic

You want the exact build number as shown on the About phone screen? The last update was DI18, but I have a custom ROM so my build number has changed or else I'd tell you.

Yeah I had flashed a rom, didn't like it, flashed back to stock but I noticed my build number says SPH-D700 Hero over 1.3ghz voodoo DI18. The rom that I had flashed was baked epic. So yeah kinda weird but makes all the benchmarks make more sense since I was getting higher scores than stock epics. when froyo does come out and it updates my phone will it return everything back to normal?

SPH-D700 Eclair.DI18 is what mine says under Build number.

What method did you use to "go back to stock"?

the reason why it still says that under build number is because thats the kernel thats running on your phone.
i think you just flashed a stock rom on top of baked snack rom.

so did you restore from a backup to original or flash the stock rom?
you can restore to complete stock that will push "OTA: over the air" updates to your phone. but what you have right now will not permit it.

youd have to remove super user permission and remove clockwork etc

Oops lol. I honestly don't remember what I had did. Does anybody have the stock kernel that I can flash or do I need to use odin?

If you want to make sure you're completely stock, Odin is the best way to go.
