I'm a noob so bear with me on this
Just got my sexy garnet red GS3 a few days ago and set it up this past Sat.
Re: Stock email app. I think it is nicely designed, though I cannot view many emails sent to me since they are in HTML formatting (graphic). Samsung chat help says there is no way to enable HTML format viewing, though the support rep seemed pretty lame. So I'm wondering if anyone here knows if there's a setting I'm missing in the stock email app to enable HTML viewing. I installed Aquamail in the meantime, but I think the design is lacking compared to the stock app, but at least it supports HTML viewing.
Re: Anti Virus. Since Android is open source and I've read there's lots of viruses and malware floating around, I'm wondering if anyone uses Avast or any of the free anti-virus programs. It seems they would be a real battery drain since they're running in the background all the time though. But I don't want any problems.
Re: Screen visibility. I notice the AMOLED screen is pretty lame outdoors when trying to view anything. Compared to the iPhone screen it's not great at all. Obviously we're not outdoors all the time, but for such an amazing device, this is a big let down.. Any thoughts?
