Is it me or the seach feature sucks? Every time I do a seach I need to search for the same exact thing including capitalization. Huh? Really? If I don't capitalize the T in tmoble or add the hyphen it won't show it in the search field. What's up with that?
This is very upsetting. I like using the stock app since you can use the split screen feature in landscape mode.
Anyone else having this problem?

I've just tried it and it seems to work OK for me. I have an Amazon order confirmation that the search found without capitalisation, and it worked the same vice-versa find the word 'trouble' - which I searched for using a capital 'T'' - which was in the body of the message.

It may be because of the hyphenated search you're doing. Have you tried other words?

Here's my searches. And keep in mind that I returned my first phone for over heating issuses.
Tell me what I'm doing wrong????

Well technically those are two different queries. I've seen that happen in any app with search functionality. I know Google is smart enough to search for both things, but I guess not most others.

Try your second search (T-Mobile) without capitalizing and see if it gives the same results.

I have only used the Gmail app. I do not like any of the stock email apps (LG, Samsung, HTC, etc.)

Or try the first search but include the hyphen...
