How can I delete the stock tones I have tried with root explorer. Rebooted the phone but they are not gone

When using root explorer, are you sure you are selecting RW

Just tried again with two different version of root explore same result. They appear after a reboot maybe I can't delete them on a stock Rom. ?

Are you s-on? sounds like to me its the "write protection" causing it.

I have now manage to get s-off. an now i could delete the stock ringtones
