Stop Samsung Music from Launching Automatically with Headphones

Every since upgrading to Nougat, my Galaxy S6 on Verizon is playing Samsung Over the Horizon whenever I plug in headphones. I think it must be launching the Samsung Music app automatically. I can't​ figure out how to stop this behavior. I have checked settings and Samsung Music is not set as the default player. Anybody have any ideas? So annoying. Thank you!
