Just got a 64gb micro SD, inserted and formatted for internal storage and everything looked good. Restarted my phone, checked storage settings and was changed back to phone. Running 7.1 on Tempo X
Probably because when you format external as internal, it is then seen as internal and will be labeled as internal from that point forward. It changed at restart because when it restarted and reloaded, it now sees external as internal, it sees no difference between your actual phones memory and the external sdcard, they are both seen as one incorporated storage medium, no longer as separate storage media. If I understood what you asked correctly. Clarify for me if I didn't.Just got a 64gb micro SD, inserted and formatted for internal storage and everything looked good.
