straight from t-mobile or through third party ?

I am trying to debate wether I should get the HTC one straight from t-mobile or go with bestbuy or another third party retail store....reason being is if I get unlimited data on a third party seller I sign a contract they have to honor my unlimited data I would assume ... Since t-mobile doesnt offer contracts anymore(directly) how do I know in 6-12 months their rates won't change or that theywill add caps to slow me down to 2g speeds! from what I have read and heard tmobile classic plans($90 plan) don't slow you down to 2g speeds anymore but if that changes since when I signed my contract caps didn't exist I wouldnt get reduced speeds right ? I also don't mind not having mobile hotspot

In general I have found that T-Mobile will not force a change in your plan. You keep whatever you agreed to when you signed up. I've heard of people still using T-Zones plans. However I don't know how this is affected now that you are not technically signing a contract. But I suspect they would honor their original rates and speeds, even if they change it for new users.
