I wanted to pull some videos off my phone by connecting it to my laptop since out internet is too slow and it takes 6-12 hours for files to move that way. But whenever I plug my phone into my laptop via USB it keeps connecting and disconnecting over and over and over and never lets me do anything. It's just non stop "ding! Ding! Ding! Ding" like I'm plugging it in and unplugging it over and over.

I tried 2 cords, one being the one that came with the phone
tried opening developer options and doing the USB debug
Tried rebooting phone and computer both a few times, plugged and not plugged in

Nothing seems to work. Ideas?

Galaxy S6 on 7.0
Windows 10.

It could be a hardware problem (USB cord, USB port on the computer). Try a different port if possible.

It could be a driver problem. Check Samsung's website to see if there are recent Windows drivers available.

I tried all 3 ports with both cords. I will look for a newer driver though, thank you! hopefully that works.
