Strange message & phone switching off

My mum has a Samsung galaxy S3 mini & it's gone slow, laggy & unresponsive. She keeps getting this message appear too but what does it mean?



Also within a week it's switched itself off twice. Any idea how to stop it turning off by itself?

Any help would be appreciated.
