Strange ring on glass

So after using it awhile and the screen becoming smudgy, it seems to develop a ring in the middle upper part of the glass. Won't rub off by finger, but it will when using a screen cleaner or a glasses towel. Any ideas? Or does anyone else have anything similar?

Mine also has a ring I can't see it after putting a screen protector on.
