Strange white spot

On my Huawei Xs recently a white spot has appeared on any/all screens. I can drag and drop it but it doesn't appear to open anything or do anything.
In the following homescreen picture it is sitting adjacent to the yellow moon in the weather widget - so you can see the white spot is about the size of the number 8° showing the temperature.
Any ideas??

The moon is up and it's partly cloudy? Create a blank homescreen - no weather widget. Is the "spot" still there? Does it show up in screenshots? (If not, it's a defect in the screen.)

Sorted. It was to do with gestures and return to dock!
