Stuck in an Infinite Loop HELP!

I need advice for a friend, his phone is stuck in an infinite loop, this is his message:

"My Galaxy s3 i747 Stuck in custom roms boot screen. Im in an infinite loop I can access download mode for a few seconds then the phone vibrates / restarts / hangs in boot all over again same goes for the recovery mode with odin . Im On a Synergys custom rom , I rooted my phone with PhoneRebels Cf Auto root and using Cwm Recovery. Please help any information is greaty appreciated thank you"

He tried to flash but the phone restarts automatically before he can even get to finish
Same thing when trying to factory reset in idle mode

Anyone have any suggestions with Infinite Loops?

If he can't stay in Odin, then he's got a real problem. I know this may sound dumb, but what about a battery pull?

Ive Tried the battery pull also, what do you guys suggest i do ?

Maybe wipe the phone if it can go to recovery mode. Only thing I can think of

I had the same problem I was clueless up all night it was awful but the only thing that would work is if you get it in download mode therefore it won't loop on you I use the 1.85 Odin old school PDA that bad boy and download the firmware then when it resets and passes as soon as you feel your phone pull the plug as it is about to reboot android guy will pop up for a sec. And it'll follow thru from there if you need the md5 fit it I have it. I do our all the time I get bored and throw it back to stock my girl hated me it is a serious addiction for me but it's nice my phone doesn't ***** or complain lol good luck let me know it works out for ya
