Hey guys
I think I f'ed up my galaxy s2 (I9100) completely.
I followed a guide and tried to get android 4.4 to work on my phone... flashed rom via odin, restarted the phone and wiped data/factory reset and cache partition like the guide said.
now to my problem... phone starts directly into cwm recovery (v5.8.1.8) and I have no clue how to get back to "normal"
I have to admit I dont really know much about android and custom roms and stuff like that (wp user who just has a galaxy s2 to toy around with)

I really hope someone can help me and thx to everyone trying

Welcome to the forums. What ROM did you try flashing? The best way to try to fix this is to load a custom ROM for your exact model onto an SD card and flash that through CWM.

I found this thread which explains how to get rid of the status 7 error
[FIX][SOLVED]Status 7 Error with CWM or TWRP… | Android Development and Hacking

is it worth a try and am I really using the right rom ?

Sorry about the delay. I've grown to like TWRP. It's much more widely supported than CWM, even though CWM was first. As for messing with the code in the ROM, I have never tried that; Always been leery about doing things like that.

As for if you are using the right ROM, I am pretty sure you are.

I tried out deleted the asserts command like in the mentioned thread... looks like it worked for a lot of people but i still got status 7
still dont know what the exact problem was but I ended up flashing this rom
