I downloaded the files from the sticky HERE

created the cminstall folder placed the files there

reboot the TP with volume up to have the USB screen

opened terminal on my mac.

ran the ACMEinstaller command

TP had the HP logo...

and it stops there.

Help pls! :D

I don't want to steer you wrong, as I just did it yesterday night. But when I copy pasted the terminal command, a whole bunch of code went on the screen and like 3 minutes later my TouchPad reset. and I was in Android.

Can you boot into WebOS?

yes i can boot into webos after i hold the power button and the home button at the same time

Hhmm.. I'd be tempted to use the 'Remove Android' and 'Tailor' Apps from Preware in webOS to remove CM7 and all partitions.. and give the Android installation another crack?

Once I had downloaded all the right files, followed the Lilliputting Tutorial (Word_doc attached) and it didn't miss a beat!

yeah I figured :-) thanks. Will try this later.

if this works, its possible that this touchpad had previously been installed with android?

got this from the firesale in ebay.

I have enabled beta feeds and still i cannot see any tailor apps... I have installed Remove android in preware several times already...

this is getting frustrating :(

anyone with ideas? will try to look for it in the alpha feeds...

I have the exact same problem as that in your first post. Could you describe in more detail what you did to install cm9 please? Thanks a lot!!!
