Hello everyone, I recently downloaded a keyboard and used it for a little while until the phone randomly restarted today (1/9/2014)

I've been dealing with a broken power button a couple of months before this happened and have been using Gravity Screen to turn the phone on and off

Anyways, when the phone restarted, it would not go past this screen.

Is there any way to get past this? I am not rooted nor have I ever rooted my phone and I do not think that I can enter recovery mode without a functional power button. :'( :( :'(

Thank you.

Hmmm......this is a tricky one. Let me see if I can get someone to help.

Hate to say this, but with the damaged power button, I don't think you can do anything. If you have never rooted your phone, I am guessing you don't have USB debugging on?

At a loss for what to suggest. Power button is too vital. Is there a repair shop near you?

I managed to fix the issue myself via Samsung Kies :D I appreciate your help

I had to factory reset it (I lost everything on the phone) but I had some weird premonition that something bad would occur so I backed everything up before the day of this issue

Hey, glad you got it up and running. Didn't even think of that possible solution. See you around the forums.
