Stuck on the red eye/vault?

[AC Question]

So my android RAZR M is stuck on the red eye loading screen and won't boot whenever I try to. I've read that I need to clear my chache but I'm having trouble with that. I can't get the menu to pop up on the android triage screen. I've tried pressing the buttons as directed by motorola's instructions, quickly, separately, for 15 seconds, for half a second, etc and I can't seem get the menu to show up.

Anyone have any insight? Or anything else I can try before I factory reset and lose everything?

Excuse me if it's an obvious question, but you are doing this from a Powered Off condition?
