Stuck with the gmail verification

[AC Question]

I had factory reseted my Nexus 5x and It asks gmail id which has been previously used in this device but when i put my email password etc It says password has been changed recently and try again in next 24 hours and then after 24 hours it says same thing. Please help me I am so depressed.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you recently change your Google password? You have to wait 72 hours after you change your Google password before you can log into a new device, not 24 hours.

Not to argue but did they change it back? It had gone from 72 down to 24 at one point.

You are correct, @hallux! They changed it in the support page as well: https://support.google.com/android-one/answer/6172890?hl=en. It's the Android One support page, but I would guess it's the same for any device. Thanks for letting me know!
